What changes: The deadline for requesting an entry visa for foreign-trained workers under Article 23 of the Consolidated Law on Immigration has been extended to 12 months from the completion of the course. This change has been introduced experimentally until December 31, 2027.
What changes: The decree on flows for the three-year period 2026-2028 establishes a total of 497,550 quotas for subordinate, self-employed, and seasonal work entries. The quotas are divided into 164,850 for 2026, 165,850 for 2027, and 166,850 for 2028. The aim is to balance employment needs with social sustainability and the fight against irregularity.
What changes: Starting from 9:00 AM on October 23, it will be possible to pre-fill the application forms for the 2026-2028 decree on flows through the application on the ALI portal. Access requires SPID or CIE. The pre-compilation phase will end on December 7, 2025.
What changes: In the procedure for submitting applications for subordinate work permits, including seasonal work, the pre-filling mechanisms for applications are made structural. Employers can pre-fill the application forms through a Ministry of the Interior portal before the days set for submission (so-called “click day“).
What changes: INPS provides operational guidelines for access to the Inclusion Allowance (ADI) by holders of residence permits for "special cases" (social protection, victims of domestic violence, victims of labor exploitation). Ordinary citizenship, residence, stay, and economic requirements do not apply to these individuals.
What changes: Starting from March 1, 2026, subordinate and self-employment in Georgia will be allowed exclusively for foreign citizens possessing a Georgian work permit. The acquisition process for the permit will be electronic, through registration on a ministerial portal, and subject to payment of fees. The permit will be issued for specific positions and employers for a duration of 1 year.
